Plum growing on a customer’s tree after supplemental pollination

There’s a plum on the tree.

Just this past weekend my oldest son, who did the pollinating, came running up the stairs yelling for me. I thought something was wrong, but he told me there was a plum on the tree. We have had this ‘self’ pollinating plum tree for four years and never got any plums. We later saw there were four plums—and they were all on the side of the tree that my son pollinated. It made for a fun discovery and a great memory.

Developing apples on a backyard apple tree

I cannot tell you how happy I am with the pollen.

I have two apple trees, but one has stopped flowering. I am a novice gardener and wasn’t sure what to do, and I was afraid I wouldn’t have any apples again this year. Even though we were late in the process, we were very successful with your product! We have so many baby apples. Your directions were easy to follow. Providing the paintbrush was a nice touch!

You helped get this tree to bear fruit once more.

Success! Thanks so much for supplying the pollen to me. I only used half on the lower part of the tree and it seems to be working wonderfully... You folks were so helpful in getting this tree to bear fruit once more.

About a dozen apples on each tree.

By the time I discovered your pollen and it arrived, some blossoms were already past the pollinating window. But I did what I could and actually have about a dozen on each tree, which would have been none without your pollen.

I think 80% of the blossoms we dusted produced an apple.

I think the pollen worked as well as it possibly could, but I barely used any of the pollen. We put it back in the freezer for next year.

Two apples growing on a customer’s tree after supplemental pollination

More than enough for a small grower.

Worked great. I would say that the small amount is way more than would have been needed, but probably good to be safe versus sorry, especially with small growers like me.

Customer experiences are individual results. Fruit set also depends on tree health, bloom, weather, and application timing.
